Obituary of Nancy S. McCall

Nancy S. McCall, 73, of Truxton NY, passed away July 14, 2015 at University Hospital, Syracuse. She was born August 24, 1941 in Cortland the daughter of the late Leon and Ruth Perrine Smith. Nancy was lifelong resident living in Truxton all her life. She had been employed at Jaline Togs, Diane's Beauty Salon, BOCES, and most recently the Cortland Child Developmental Center retiring in 2002. After retiring she and her husband enjoyed spending winters in Florida. She was a longtime member of the Truxton Methodist Church. Nancy enjoyed family time, playing cards, crocheting, knitting, spending time with children especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 55 yrs. Harold McCall of Truxton, her daughter Kathleen McCall of McGraw, James (Katrina) McCall of Cortland, grandchildren Kimberly (Gary Stage) Margeson, Katie Margeson, Meagan Rickert, Cameryn Rickert, Sierra Rickert, Alexis Roy, Michael (Angela) McCall, Derrick (Alexandria Mikitiuk) McCall, her step-grandchildren; Elizabeth Smith, Patrick Turner, her sister Linda (Rudnick) Smith, five great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-9 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Funeral services will be held Friday 10 am at the Truxton United Methodist Church.
