Obituary of Irene Range

Irene Range 87, of Cortland, passed away March 22, 2015 in Cortland Park Nursing Facility. Irene was born January 27, 1928 in Cortland the daughter of the late William and Josephine Bottoff Tifft. Irene had been employed by Crescent Corset company, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, and playing cards, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Irene is survived by her children Robert (Jean) Totman of McLean, Patricia (Konrad) Rueb of Summer Hill, Joanne (Rob) Avery of AZ. 7 grandchildren, 9 great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Irene was predeceased by her husband Lester Range, sisters Beverly Rogers Alice Twoomy and brother Lester Tift. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Spring Interment will be held in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
