Obituary of Frank Contento

Frank Contento 89, of Homer passed away March 21, 2015 in Cortland Regional Medical Center with his family at his side. Frank was born January 9, 1926, in Cortland , the son of the late Gaetano and Pasqua Panaro Contento. Frank had been employed at Wickwire Brothers, and had owned and operated the Family Dairy Farm for several years. Frank was an avid hunter, and fisherman, but most of all his greatest times were spent with his family. Frank is survived by his wife Pauline, his children Stewart (Bonnie) Contento of Cortland, Stanley “Butch” Contento of Homer, Sharon (Carl) Veno of Olean, Sandra (LeRoy) Dutton of Cortland, his step children Edward (George) King of Cortland, John (Julie) McGuire of Texas, brother Dominick (Mary) Contento of Cortland, sister Anna(Stanley) Hobart of New Hope, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren , several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Frank was predeceased by his brothers, Victor, John, Gerald, and Leonard , sister Theresa Doyle and stepson Norris McGuire. At Frank’s request there are no services.
