Obituary of Robert R "Jiggs Hollenbeck Jr

Robert R.”Jiggs” Hollenbeck Jr. 68, of Cortland passed away January 8, 2015 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Jiggs was born August 23, 1946 in Cortland, the son of the late Robert and Gertrude Bennett Hollenbeck Sr. Jiggs served with the Army Reserves, and had been employed at Smith Corona and retired from TC3. Jiggs is survived by his wife Renee Pratt Hollenbeck of Cortland, his children Brian (Brandi) Hollenbeck of Cortland, Kevin Sherman, Chad (Brandi) Sherman and Tracy Hollenbeck all of Florida. 9 Grandchildren 1 great-grandchild, his brother David (Marleene)Hollenbeck of Dryden Several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Jiggs was predeceased by his sister Judy Herman. Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave With the Reverend Michael Dunn officiating. Spring interment will be held in Willow Glen Cemetery Dryden. Friends are invited to call from 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
