Obituary of Judith A. Bentley

Judith A Bentley, 73, of Cortland NY passed away unexpectedly at her home December 3rd. She was born Nov 10th, 1941 daughter of the late William and Dorothy Dries. Survived by her husband of 52 years Richard A Bentley. Son Michael Bentley (Betty Shutt), and daughter Marna Bentley (Greg Cawley). Grandchildren Jason, Justin, Jordynn Hogan. Brother Paul (Val) Dries. Nieces, Kate Dries, Jacquie (Rich) Wilder, Janelle (Russell) Stratton, Treece Wright. Sister in law Eileen Bentley and the late Joan Bentley Bishop Wray. Aunt Floral Dries, cousins, and great nieces and nephews. She retired from the Cortland Child Development Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Looked forward to backyard get together, yearly birthday weekend with girls from high school and yearly trip to Aruba with Dick and close friends. She made everyone feel welcomed with her smile, laughter, and honesty. She was loved by many and will be truly missed. Calling hours will be Saturday 11 am - 2 pm at Wright Beard with a celebration of life following at the Cortland Elks Club.
