Obituary of Richard H. Healey Jr.

Richard H. Healey Jr., 60, of Cortland passed away on August 21, 2014. He was born on September 6, 1953, in Millinocket, Maine to the late Richard Healey Sr. and Mona White Healey. Richard had been a long time resident of the Cortland area. He was a graduate of Cortland High School, and went on to receive his Associate's degree. Mr. Healey was most recently employed at the Dollar General of Moravia. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed a wide variety of music. He is predeceased by his sister Patricia Bougie. Mr. Healey is survived by his sisters, Terry Bell of McGraw, NY; Julieanne (Robert) Reader of West Winfield, NY; Kelley (Wesley) Lant of Fountain, CO; Brother James (Ann Marie) Healey of Penfield, NY; special friends Janet Hanna, Sharon Madison, and 11 nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 11-12PM at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland with a service to follow at noon.
